Mornings are where the magic happens. If you win the morning, you win the day. I was never a morning person until recently. I used to dread waking up in the morning and usually didn’t accomplish much throughout the day. Recently I found this routine that will help you get over the morning blues and help you conquer the day. Today, I’m going to share with you 5 things to do before you get out of bed.
Why is this important? If you do these things I can assure you that your day will go better and you will be happier! Now let’s get started on the 5 things to do before you get out of bed!
1. Express Gratitude
Expressing gratitude is like a magnet, the more you express it, the more you will get in return. Gratitude will shift you into a higher frequency, and you will attract better things. Keep a gratitude journal if you have to and write down what you’re grateful for.
2. Set Your Intention For The Day
I recommend writing down things you want to accomplish for the day. Put the most important things at the top and get straight to them, this will make you more productive and make you feel a sense of accomplishment once you complete them.
3. Take 5 Long Deep Breaths
When you go to the doctor and they ask you to take deep breaths don’t you feel way calmer after? This will relax your mind and body to get you ready for the day. When you’re relaxed you’re more likely to make smarter decisions and accomplish more.
I know I mention this in almost every article but smiling is so important. Smiling will put you in a better mood for the day and you will carry on throughout the day with a positive attitude.
5. Forgive Yourself For Yesterday’s Mistakes
There is nothing worse then going through the day reflecting on the past. Today is a new day, forgive yourself and move on. You will feel so much better when you have this mindset and think of each day as a new opportunity. This is the most important of the 5 things to do before you get out of bed.
